Alice is a qualified personal trainer and sports massage therapist with over 7 years of experience in the world of health and fitness. Her dedication to improving people’s lives both on a physical and mental level are one-of-a-kind, with her belief being that true health stems from a harmonious mind, body and soul. Currently she’s rounding off her knowledge with a Masters in Gestalt psychotherapy, which she hopes will add another string to her bow.
More and more, I realize how valuable my health is to me. We tend to take it for granted, but it’s what allows us to move through life each day and do what we enjoy most. For me, that’s growing relationships with my family, friends, and achieving my own personal goals. Through intermittent fasting, I’ve found that I can enhance all these things, as it’s a health booster that I can adapt to suit my lifestyle.
Personally, I go for a gentle 14:10 fasting schedule that allows my digestion a well-deserved break before bed – without taking centerstage. Aside from better sleep and more energy, I’ve found that fasting helps me eat more intuitively, so that I focus on nourishing my body rather than fueling my emotions.
