How to Use the Fastic App

Thriving on your intermittent fasting journey

How to use the Fastic app to support your fasting journey

The Fastic app is full of tools to help you on your intermittent fasting journey, and we’re invested in bringing you the best possible product. You asked, we listened. Take a look at what’s in store for you!

Track your fast

In the fasting tab, you’ll find everything you need to know about tracking your fast. The fasting tracker helps you visualize your progress, motivating you to keep reaching for results you deserve.

First, you’ll need to establish a daily goal – select a fasting method in the upper left corner that fits your daily schedule. As a general rule, we suggest easing yourself in. If you’re a beginner, try starting with 14:10, working your way up as your body adjusts. As you increase your fasting time, try 16:8, 18:6, or for an occasional challenge, 20:4. Simply start and stop the fasting timer for a crystal-clear fasting and eating window.

For each day you fast, you’ll get a Flame! Collect Flames and you’ll get a Frosty, which is used when you need a day off, but want to save your fasting streak. Remember, you can always adjust your fasting method to be more flexible, or use a Frosty, depending on what your day has in store for you.

Stay accountable

Staying accountable to your goals shows self-discipline, the highest form of self-love. Learn to put yourself, and your long term happiness, first!

Stay up-to-date in the profile tab by logging your weekly weigh-ins. Remember, weighing yourself too often can be counterproductive. Your weight can fluctuate depending on hormones, salt intake, time of day, etc. Aim for a weekly weigh-in and watch your progress throughout your journey.

Have trouble remembering your fasting times? Enable notifications from Fastic’s fasting app in your phone’s settings so that you’re always on top of it! You’ll be reminded of everything, from fasting times to drinking water, so check ‘remembering’ off of your to-do list.

Monitor your daily habits

Ever feel you just need a little push to get you on the path to success? Drinking enough water and doing low intensity exercise during the fasting period can be the extra oomph you’ve been looking for! Lucky for you, we’ve got a way to track it all.

Water tracker

Use the water tracker to track your water intake. Remember, hydration is a key factor in your success with intermittent fasting! Staying hydrated allows the body to flush out waste and stored water. It also safeguards you from mistaking thirst for hunger, which can sabotage your fasting windows and your progress!

Step tracker

The step counter currently syncs with the Apple Health App and Google Health, so be sure to allow the Fastic app to link in your phone’s settings! Low intensity activity, like walking, has been shown to improve joint health, increase blood flow and enhance the effects of intermittent fasting. More opportunities to pair are coming soon.
